if you want earpiercing sharpness just get any hifiman and you are doneMy week with the FT5's is winding down. Today I put the suede pads on. Definitely a different sound. To me, they do lack some sharpness. I have to try them with all my genre's though as so far it has just been 1990's/2000's rock and pop-rock.
nice review, thank you. only thing i am missing is a word about soundstage depth. Here's my take on the FT5 - https://www.hifipig.com/fiio-ft5-headphones/

I don't find that at all. I have enjoyed my HE6se V2's for a few years. Two weeks ago I picked up some used Arya's and I am loving them.if you want earpiercing sharpness just get any hifiman and you are done

Schiit BF2 to iFi Pro iCAN using bass boost and 3D sound effects. As I said, I have really enjoyed HE6se V2's, but the Arya's are a joy to listen to with almost everything.do you eq, use an r2r dac or tubes?
