Are ivipQ, XinHS and MoonHiFi all trying to undercut each other now by practically giving away free cables?

I look away for a moment and it’s pretty much exploded on Twitter/X.

These are just the ones I came across with discount codes that still work as of now.

ivipQ Litz Oil immersed Graphene Palladium Plating

ivipQ 4-Core Tin Shielding Layer Oil Immersed OFC Litz

XINHS G8

XINHS-075

BKVRJK1U0RKN

NiceHCK HiCotton (MoonHiFi)

Haven’t tried any of them but since I don’t have anything else to do with my vouchers, why the heck not…

Can I have some recommendations for most comfortable and soft cable IEM 20-70$ ?

I am using Mest Mk2. Ear hook is uncomfortable.

Hi, cross posting from another cable thread. Just want to show how inaccurate and meaningless it is to measure cable resistance, especially with a multimeter (I bought this to check if I can identify an expensive plug from a cheap plug judging by the resistance):

this is a Micro Ohm Meter, not a multimeter, using 4-wire Kelvin method, so the internal resistance of the meter itself can be ignored

And the same cable measured with a multimeter. Just please stop measuring cables.

Above is a Cardas Clear Light with a nickle free silver plated copper core plug.

A relatively cheap XINHS cable above.

Exactly! A multimeter's tolerance at those levels are horrendous. I've been looking for a cheap micro ohm meter, but most I've found have been at least $200, except for a cheap Chinese one that is just the circuit board and lcd. How much was that one?

Yeah, and there used to be a 'guide' on how to measure cable resistance with a multimeter and spreadsheet of the mesurements.

Search YMC01 on AliEx. Get the 2ohm version which costs around 15 to 20.

Thanks! I've been needing one in order to tolerance match sub ohm wirewound resistors in different electrical projects.
