Pros: Amazingly clear and top-end loaded tone for KZ
A fast airy and open basic audiophile sound all day long, if you can take it
Bright in a good way
Fairly clean sub-bass missing a little mid-bass/lower midrange
Dual 31736 Balanced Armature Drivers (x2)
10mm Internal Magnetic Dynamic Driver
Vented to the max
Well constructed and clear treble itemizations
Only 6 grams each, on the smaller side of medium
Probably the most IEM you can get for under $55?
Cons: At times bright in a bad way having you match the PRO 2 with warmer sources or cables
The KZ ZS10 PRO X still the safe purchase for many
Not the thickest male vocals on the block
This particular IEM can ask you to lower your volume at times, due to midrange and treble intensity
Not the most note weight
A tad of off-timbre
In October of 2022 I introduced the KZ ZS10 Pro X to the Head-Fi world. Since then the review has garnered just under 38,000 views. :)

We now have a Pro 2 model……….time to get...

Pros: • Tuning Filter: The inclusion of a tuning filter allows for sound customization, giving you control over the audio profile to match your preferences.

• Vocal Performance: The MP145 excels in vocal clarity and presence, making it ideal for genres where vocals are a focal point.

• Build Quality: With a full metal body, the build quality is robust, ensuring that the earphones can withstand regular use.

• Detail Retrieval: It offers excellent detail retrieval, allowing you to appreciate the intricacies in your music.

• Treble Quality: The treble is well-tuned, avoiding issues like sibilance, which can often be a problem with other IEMs.

• Bass Performance: The bass is impactful and well-defined, providing a solid foundation without overpowering the mids and highs.

• Value for Money: Considering its features and performance, the MP145 is priced competitively, making it a great option for those looking for quality without a high cost.
Cons: • Shell Size: The larger shell size may not be comfortable for all users, especially those with smaller ears, potentially affecting the fit and isolation.

• Stock Tips and Pouch: The quality of the stock tips and the included pouch is not on par with the earphones themselves, which might necessitate additional purchases for optimal use.

Pros: A clean,neutral-bright sounding set! (subjective)

Clean, bleed free mids.

Tight, controlled bass response.

Airy, elevated upper frequencies (subjective)

Very good resolution/detail retrieval for its asking price.

Very good technical performance, particularly on soundstage and imaging.

Versatile tuning switches!

Very good fit, comfort, and isolation.

Beautiful, sleek design! (subjective)

Easy to drive.
Cons: The overall sound can be “too bright” to some.

Mids may sound “thin” to some.

Can sound borderline shouty at times.

IEM shell can be bulky for some ears.

Barebone accessories. A pouch or a case would’ve been nice for the price.

First of all, thank you for the time and energy you have devoted to writing this great review. The only thing missing to make it perfect is to add exactly which version of KZ Vader it is. Your description of the sound might suggest that it is a brighter Hi-Res version and not the warmer tuned Balanced (which according to the graphs should be more or less equivalent to the CCA Trio). It would be great if you added the exact version to the title of your review and then it would be clear to everyone. Thanks 🖖

It appears to be the Hi-Res version based on the matte finish of the faceplate. The Balanced version should be glossier and darker.

500+ Head-Fier
Pros: Nice neutral tune that is inoffensive
Nice present vocals
Great clarity
Balanced upper air with Bass, so right.
The treble is smooth and inoffensive
Great overall sound quality with an easier-to-listen-to sound.
Case is premium.
Fits a unique tuning in the Elysian Lineup.
Has a less shimmering presence of the Pilgrim original.
Soundstage is nice
Flexible cable with easy swapping as needed for our cable rollers
Cons: Packaging isn’t as cool as the Other Elsyian iems as it doesn’t have cute drawers.
Lower pinna gain isn’t for all
Bass on the slight lean side of neutral
Tech of this iem is very strong, but not beyond the Pilgrim OG.
Vocals don’t have the sauce of the Diva, og Pilgrim, or Anniliator.

500+ Head-Fier
Pros: - Punchy and thick bass, non-recessed mellow and warm mids, forward vocals, very smooth and non-fatiguing treble, surprising coherency along the spectrum and no BA timbre
- Super comfortable shells and great isolation
- Very good build quality and unique design
- Stock tips are of nice quality
- Cable is flexible and does not tangle easily
- Clear direction of the brand, with the tuning being targeted to a specific audience
Cons: - The sub-bass rolls-off early, the bass could be too thick for some, the highs are dark-ish and have very limited extension and the overall resolution and technical performance are not the best in their price range
- Lackluster tips choice (only one type of tips in the three different sizes provided)
- The price is understandable considering it’s an IEM from a boutique brand, but the market has so many products that it will be very hard to be noticed by those who are not really into the hobby (even though the signature is quite unique for a single BA set)

New Head-Fier
Pros: A well-balanced, somewhat warm sound character.
Outstanding value given the cost.
Lightweight and comfortable design.
A better cable quality than the OG Aria.
Enhanced the treble area with vibrant mids.
Replaceable Acoustic Nozzle.
Cons: Some bass enthusiasts might prefer a greater sub-bass presence.
There isn't the largest soundstage.
Inadequate eartips.

Context:

Aria 2 is engaging and dynamic, with well-elevated bass that does not detract from the shine of the mids or the treble. Aria 2 is a pleasant, neutral-sounding set...

New Head-Fier
Pros: Pros:

• Budget-Friendly: At $39.99, the PH05 is a great value, especially considering its features.

• Multitasking Master: With five 3.5mm outputs, it's perfect for group listening or monitoring multiple audio devices.

• Powerhouse Performance: Each channel boasts 310mW of power, capable of driving a wide range of headphones and IEMs.

• Solid Build: Like all Fosi products its all metal construction feels very sturdy and built to last.

• Simple and Clear: Easy-to-use controls and labeled inputs/outputs make operation a breeze.

• Versatile Applications: Ideal for group listening, audio reviews, mixing, and podcast monitoring.

• Enhanced Dynamics: Improves power and dynamic range for devices with low output, enriching the listening experience.
Cons: Cons:

• No 4.4 balance output or at least an included 4.4 to 3.5 adaptor. But at the price fosi is selling the PH05 this more like a nitpick than a real con.
Technical Specifications:

• Power Output: 310mW x 5 channels (enough to drive most headphones, but may struggle with high-impedance models)

• Recommended Headphone Impedance: 16Ω-300Ω
